Mables Dining Room – Homestyle Comfort Food & Great Prices in Gallatin, TN

I can’t praise this place enough. Their prices are unbeatable! Make sure you bring cash or check though as they do not take credit/debit. The food is delicious. Everything tastes homemade. Not only the meats but the sides are also all winners! Service is great also. If you’re looking for comfort food or that home cooked kind of meal, this needs to be your go-to. All other meat & 3’s around here cost double, sometimes triple the price and usually they only have one or two things that are actually really good. Every item I’ve tried at Mabel’s has been yummy!

Great place. I liked their Catfish plate. I even brought some home for lunch the next day! Give this place a try!

Because of the great prices and friendly staff, I give it a higher rating. My tater tots were great, BLT was pretty good. Hubby didn’t eat his cheese covered hashbrowns bc they weren’t very good. Omelet was okay. Very glad they serve Coke products. The inside of the place could use cleaned and updated a little but where else can 2 people eat for less than $14 before tip?! I got water to drink and he got soda. If we go back, we just won’t get breakfast. I will for sure get tater tots. Cash or check only but that’s not too big of a deal. Glad I can use checks somewhere! Haha.

The food was prices week for the amount you get. The server was on the ball and had our food it with in a few minutes of ordering, kept our drinks full and was pleasant to speak with. The atmosphere was very country and homey

My sister in law and a googled a homestyle restaurant near gallatin tennessee, this restaurant came up, we stopped there and on the door it said that cash or check only, we went and got cash and went in to eat. My sister in law ordered the rubuen sandwich and I got the chicken livers with macaroni.And cheese and green beans, cornbread and a salad bar, everything was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was so sweet and the food was so delicious , home cooking, if you want home cooking , come to maples restaurant just be sure to have cash or check on hand.

I have never teared up in a restaurant, but Mable’s Dining Table in Gallatin TN brought tears to my eyes — the kind that comes from when something truly touches your heart. From the moment we walked in, it felt like coming home. Our waitress, Heather, was an absolute sweetheart. She treated me and my daughter Tiffany like family — not just customers. Her warmth, smile, and genuine care made the whole experience even more special. It felt like we were sitting down at a grandma’s table, not a restaurant. And the food? Lord have mercy! I had the tenderloin biscuit with gravy and eggs, and it was so delicious!! Every bite took me back to my grandma’s kitchen — comforting, and made with love. To top it all off, the prices were incredibly reasonable. It’s rare to find food this good at prices that don’t break the bank. It felt like a blessing in more ways than one. If you’re looking for a place that feeds both your heart and your belly, Mable’s is it. Tiffany and I will definitely be back — and you can bet we’ll be asking for Heather!
